We're down in San Clemente, one of our favorite places, for the weekend (the trip is one of Wendy's Christmas presents). Since she just flew in from Texas last night, Kiernan and I let her get a little nap time and headed down to the beach to play.
Within moments he had made three new friends and had splashed headfirst into the water. He made a second awesome dive when a retreating wave threatened to make off with one of his sandals. Just this past summer he would barely go in the water. Now it's February and he thinks jumping in is a great idea.
I hope feeling returns to my feet and legs sometime soon.

It sounds like it was a great sandal rescue. It also sounds like the weather is a bit warmer than here in Gloucester Point. We had more snow flurries yesterday and possibly some more tomorrow.
Oh my gosh Kiernan is so cool!!!
Sooo cute! I still can't believe that I can see and hear what KK did just yesterday as though I was there. This is one of those times I am so grateful for modern technology!! xo
